Everyday Zen Dialogues
"Conversations With Death"

Frank Ostaseski is a founding director of Zen Hospice Prosject. He is also the founder of the Metta Insitute which provides innovative training and education on spirituality in dying . People come from all over the country and are usually working in this field.

Martha de Barros
has been practicing Zen Meditation for more then 30 years including living as a monastic at Green Gulch Farm for many of those years. Martha was a pioneer in the SF hospice movement and was co-founder of the Zen Hospice Project (with Frank Ostaseski). She was part of a group of people who founded the “Prison Meditation Network” (made up of volunteers who go into our jails and prisons and teach meditation to inmates) a program supported by BPF and SFZC.

Everyday Zen Dialogues is an ongoing series of programs creating conversations about practicing in the world. We invite you to visit our website for information about future programs. We welcome people of all nationalities, classes, genders, sexual orientation, age, physical ability and newcomers to Buddhist practice.

Please bring a bag lunch.
