Zen Hospice Project - volunteering to help care for the dying:
Zen Hospice Project offers spiritually based volunteer care for dying patients at Laguna Honda Hospital and Laguna Grove Care in San Francisco, as well as public education events related to death and dying. Norman has been affiliated with the Zen Hospice project since its beginnings in the mid 1980's. He served as chairman of the Board for many years, and continues to teach in its public education programs.
